The JVC karaoke player can't read my burned CD's
When I burned a song I made, the JVC Karaoke player didn't recognize the disk or track.
When I played a song I made in the Producer with Producer, it looked fine... but on MicroStudio when I select "play" it was a mess. The texted ran all over and the characters were partial and spotted. When I imported a cdg from a purchased karaoke CD and burned it, the Karaoke player also did not detect it ... again, "no disc" My system: Motherboard Soyo K7VTA-B CPU AMD Athlon 900Mhz CPU Cooling Thermaltake Volcano II Memory 256MB PC133 SDRAM Video Card Nvidia Vanta 16MB AGP Sound Card Onboard AC '97 Audio Modem Creative Labs ModemBlaster 56k PCI Network Card Realtek chipset 10/100 NIC card Hard Drive Maxtor Diamondmax 60+ 20GB Samsung 52X IDE Floppy Drive Teac 1.44MB Operating System Windows 98SE Plus! with the plextor 12x10x32 IDE |

On some of the JVC players you might have to record at 1x speed for them to read the disc as a CD. You might also have to use quality media instead of the cheaper media. I would use either Mitsui media which you can purchase from Master Recording Supply in CA, 800-860-4560, or try the Sony media that you can find in most stores.
Try reading some of these posts about the JVC players that have already been found as being difficult. ttp://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?threadid=490&highlight=JVC%2A http://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthr...ghlight=JVC%2A http://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthr...ghlight=JVC%2A http://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthr...ghlight=JVC%2A http://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthr...ghlight=JVC%2A I hope that some of this information will help you. We don't have any personal experience the with the JVC players as most of these clients do have them.
