Microstudio 4.003 & 4.004

When I have Hoster or any other program open, then open Microstudio, all my volume controls are reset to zero. If I shut off Microstudio they all return to the original settings. This happen first using Microstudio 4.003. When I downloaded 4.004 I thought there may be a patch for this, but I still have the same problem.

I've never had a problem while doing a show, as I never use Microstudio. I also have a friend who just called me with the same problem.

What's the fix?

Thanks,

Chuckster

Microstudio should be defaulting the audio level to whatever you have the system volume set to prior to opening it. It will reset the volume back to that level when it closes. If you also have Hoster open, there may be a conflict between who is controlling the master volume.
I tried it and my volume actually went up because the setting I have is up higher.
The key then would be to have your master volume up and then when you open Microstudio, set its main and music level to match that level. When you close Microstudio it should save its internal settings so next time you open it they should be the same as before.
