Just thought I'd put a post here because it was empty and I felt sorry for this thread.

Oh yeah CD Recorders my HP 8100+ and HP 9500 are great.

Be careful of the current (February, 2001) HP CDR drives. Read this thread: http://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthr...p?threadid=184

You will have problems with these drives today because HP changed the software they provide to control the drive. The ASPI driver is no longer available to Microstudio or other application programs as has been in the past.

I shall no update my drive software since it works ok. Also if and when I reformat and reinstall all software on my hard drive I'll stick with the old drive software. Thansk for the tip.
