I get kicked out of Hoster.

About once an hour I get kick out of hoster. I recently upgraded to Hoster 4.20 & made the recommended changes. Is there something I missed?

We are going to need more information to determine if there is something you missed.
Operating System (XP, Vista, Windows 7)?
Error message you are getting?
What type of computer (laptop, desktop)?
Any other programs running on the computer?
What recommended changes did you do?

Re: I get kicked out of Hoster.

Dale,
I'll go right down your list:

1.) Operating system is windows 7 home premium version. I recently upgraded from vista. I also upgraded to Hoster 4.20.

2.) The error message is a pop-up block. I have never had the opportunity to right down the message because it always happens during a show. I am currently running my laptop with hundreds of songs lined up to play to recreate the message. It usually happens with the first hour of running the Hoster program.

3.) My computer is a hp laptop.

4.) There are no other programs running. I even deleted all anti-virus programs to make sure that none were running with Hoster. I only use this computer for karaoke. The only web site I ever go to is MTU for updates, but first I check for them with my desk top computer to minimize time that my laptop is connected to the internet.

5.) The recommended changes I made are the ones from the MTU website for windows vista and windows 7. When I upgraded to windows 7 I went back to make sure all of the changes were still in effect. Some were and some weren't. I rechecked all of them and made the necessary corrections. All of the changes can be found on the MTU website.

Thanks for your help.

How old is this laptop?
What is the Processor speed and amount of RAM?
Does the fan run a lot like it is getting hot?

Is this the list you went by on MTU? http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster/windows7-changes.htm
Part of that is to also do all the Custom Updates from Microsoft. Did you do those?

Do you have any other problems with the program?
