Hoster During Pandemic

I have a brother\\\'s birthday celebration coming this October at his daughter\\\'s house. I\\\'ve done it before the pandemic and a good time was had by all. I\\\'m not a pro but I enjoy doing Karaoke.

I believe the friends and relatives who will be there have had the vaccine, but my concern is what should I do to insure what I\\\'m doing is safe? I even don\\\'t have a problem NOT doing Karaoke.

Hope every one is well, my wife and I have been vaccinated and try to follow all the rules for to insure we and others are safe.

So, I\\\'m interested in any advice the folks on this site can give me.

Thanks,

Wes

Re: Hoster During Pandemic

I\'m back doing a few shows a month. I use disposable mic covers, have hand sanitizer available and wipe done the mics after every singer with sanitizer. I have also had the vaccine. Good luck!

Re: Hoster During Pandemic

Walt,

Thanks for the input. After I requested help on this forum, I turned to the WEB and asked the question again, and in most of the articles it was a no go for Karaoke.

I\'m not a real KJ, and my stills are not the same as your\'s are. So, I think my brother can wait till next year.

Thanks again for your response, and keep safe.

Wes
