2.506 Does Not Detect Drives

I just downloaded the 2.506 Upgrade. I put a CDG in the drive and opened the Play Screen, nothing happened so I clicked Detect Drives. It did not detect either drive. I have the Plextor 48/24/48A and the Plextor 40/12/40A. I was using the old Microstudio earlier this morning and no problems.

Thanks,
Ernie

Problem solved! I tried rebooting again, and the second time took care of the problem.

Thanks,
Ernie

It should still work, since your older Microstudio was fine in the morning.

What I would try is open Microstudio. Click on the Drives Menu, ASPI Drivers. Check to see if this is set to Use the MTU installed driver if not then set it to this, close Microstudio and try again.

Let me know what happens.

Glad to hear it. I take it you had Windows 98 or ME then. You must Reboot after you install under 98 or ME or you will have this problem.
