Still none the wiser. I guess we will just have to wait for MTU to contact us by email when they get around to it before the 6th November with our discount vouchers. I thought it would be in their interests to contact and look after existing customers first.

I can't find a price for a upgrade. But there is not a link to the new version in my account. Does anybody have this new version yet?

It takes them a day or two to get everyones accounts reset. However as has been pointed out this will not be a free upgrade. If you go to your account, login, then look at Software on the right side and you should see in that list that MicroStudio 3.000 is $39.95 (.99 ... I forget ).

Considering how much work MTU put into this upgrade and the amount of features added that is a real bargain!

$40.00 bucks real cheap

I couldn't agree more with ddouglas. With all the new features Microstudio now has $40 bucks is a steal.

Please go to
http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/microstudio.htm

which states

Existing Microstudio users will receive an email by November 5, 2006 good through November 30, 2006 with a discount coupon to purchase version 3.000. When you receive your coupon, order immediately to get the discount. This is a totally new product and an upgrade is not available, except the discount coupon through November.

If you are an existing customer wait for your email or you will be paying for the product twice.

I couldn't wait. I already put it on my desk top computer. Maybe when I decide if I'm going to put it on my laptop they give me a double break. So far the new program looks good. Having a couple issues with it but I'll wait and post once I've finished going through it all.

We only did 16 Beta Test releases. We expect you and others will find some problems, and other desires. We're waiting; when you're ready to tell us.

We had to update our mailing list, and that has taken longer than expected.

Sorry MTU. Been with you along time now and any time you come out with an upgrade I'm sort like a kid on Christmas Eve. You guys jusy keep getting better. I also appologize for not seeing ahead of time that we now have a new forum so to speak to post problems in. I will correct that in the future.

However since you asked; I noticed that once you have loaded a disc in; it takes quite some time to get the songs moved over to the play side of the screen. The biggest problem I am having right now is I can't get it to write to disc. Tired different discs. (MTU's included) different speeds. And have of course all window updates. Just curious if there is something else we need to do with the new version. Guess I will back up and reinstall the older version for the time being. Again, sorry for jumping the gun.

Going to have to get more active in posting again. Been too busy using and enjoying your products.

Hey Admin,
I bought the upgrade at the discount price, then I read this thread and you list it for less.
Still great value but why the difference?
Regards from across the pond.

Mine was a forecast, you got an actual. We could charge $39.95 if you'd rather...
