Plextor

For the longest time, I have used the Plextor that I purchased from you that installs right into my tower. Recently it finally bit the dust, and I had to pull out the first Plextor I purchased from you which runs throught the usb port, but I can't seem to get microstudio to recognize it. What do I do?

Did you get this working?

If not, the only thing that I can think of that would cause this is that yor ASPI driver or Motherboard drivers were damaged. Does the computer Recognize the drive?

By the way, the computer does recognize the drive-as far as the ASPI drive, that is why I am contacting you!

Also, what are the exact errors or messages that you are getting? What version of Microstudio are you using?

If your Microstudio shows No for karaoke on this drive, then the problem is you have an older version of the software. You will need the latest version 2.612 to support a newer Plextor PX-716A or UF model drive.

You can open Microstudio go to the Help Menu\About, it will tell you what version you are running here.

If the Drive is recognized, but states NO for Karaoke, then your problem is that you have and Older version of Microstudio installed. You need to upgrade to the newer version to fix this. Here is how to get in your store account, if you have purchased within 1 year the software will be there, if not you will need to purchase the upgrade.

Here is the FAQ on the Store Account: http://www.mtu.com/support/faq/faq-website.htm

genefan69, did you solve your problem, or are you still having trouble?

I'd like to close this Thread if you are now running.
