converting files

yes

I have a program called Siren Jukebox. I believe that it might be difficult to find, but for me, it's the best for this kind of thing.

I believe that Gold Wave does conversions as well.

i've used a freeware mp3 to wav converter, and it works great,
though you have to install adware to use it free. i think its $20 to use it without the adware.

do a search for "free mp3 to wav" and you should find it.
