Beginner, please advice

I love to sing and I have a karaoke machine (not so new) and I buy a lot of Karaoke songs but I cannot find all the songs I like. The only way is to have a program or programs to help me to make my own CD-Gs. I found your site searching for some information how to remove vocals and to burn a CD-G. I would like to buy from this site...but unfortunately I am not sure what I need.
Can somebody help me with this information?
That means to start with how can I remove vocals with computer (can I remove vocals from a mp3?) and convert in bin file, what CD-G burner to use (if my DVD writer is good for this or not)and burn CD-G and finally if these will play in my Karaoke machine.
I really apreciate your patience and your advice in advance.
Thank you,
Stela

Stela,
It sounds like you should buy Microstudio to convert your karaoke disc into either bin files or KMA files. (I use KMA files because I run Hoster) so you can run them on your computer. Buy Vogone to remove the vocals and buy KHpro to create your own CG+G disc. Download the demo copies of the programs and make sure they work with your cd/dvd burner.

MTU has a package where you can buy all three programs with Keyright which will let you change the keys of your of your karaoke tracks.

I suggest the Karaoke Suite 4 for $139.99.

I Hope This Helps

You're welcome. Be sure you have all of the latest Wimdows Updates before you try the demos. Be sure to select "custom" when you update.

Also MTU has spent alot of time setting up the help section of their programs. If you have a question, always check the help files first. If you have a problem after that, post it on this forum and we'll get you going.

I Hope This Helps

Jim

Great job Jim!

Only thing I can offer is about drives. Microstudio has code that will interface to most modern drive. The demo allows you to test your drive, even burn a disc (not very usable, but good enough to prove your drive does/doesn't work for CDG discs).

Microstudio's Import Tracks screen has error correction that will incredibly clean up scratched discs like new... if the data can be read at all. There is nothing - hardware or software - that can equal it. Thus, your songs will import and show clean lyrics without the random dots you see so often.

Thanks for considering MTU... and using our Forums. You should have no problems using our programs.

First step

Thanks again for your help. First step was to buy MTU DVD burner. My DVD is good for...nothing. Next one will be to try Vagon. I hope everything will be OK.
Thanks again and I am sure i'll need more help soon,
Stela

This is not true as Vogone can do so!

Depending on how the vocals were originally tracked, yes it is possible.
