AVG tools. Sometimes I forget to look at the drop-down menus because of all of the pretty buttons

avg tools

yea in AVG. If you double click on your avg icon it opens AVG. Then click on tools...etc

Sounds like you need to upgrade your AVG Bryant. Obviously you don't have the same version they do.

but shouldn't different versions still have a way of doing the same things.

Now if Microsoft followed that philosophy we wouldn't have such a learning curve going from NT, to 2000, to XP, to Vista, and to whatever else they are going to bring out and screw up.
For that matter are all the features in Hoster 4.06 also in 3.4?
Have you tried the Help section for your AVG to see how to add exclusions?

I use Avast Anti-Virus (The home version is also free). I've never had a problem with it.
