Re installing MS on System Reading Drivers

I just re-installed Microstudio V2.310 onto my new hard drive. I also picked up a new Plexwriter Premimum with a 52 times write speed for the same computer. After installing the origional M.S. disc, the program open but will not automatically fill in the Reading or Writing drive. What do I need to do?[size=3][b]
