FIXED-message: "insert disk 1 that contains the file layout.bin"

Hi,

Downloaded the 2.506 upgrade and in the process of installing it, got message saying "Please insert disk 1 that contains the file layout.bin". This is an internet download and there is NO disk. The box that comes up gives me a path "C:\Docume ~1\owner\Locals ~1\temp\pftDD.tmp" What is that?

Can't install 2.506 in Win98SE and Win2000

1. Downloaded the Program Twice. Shows 2,660,338 as Program Size.

2. Internet Shows ID parameters Match.

3. Program accepts Registration Number.

4. Upon Installation, Install Stops and won't go any further that at
"Please insert disc that contains file layout.bin.

5. Program is directed to Windows\Temp Directory for files.

6. The Windows/Temp Directory HAS THESE FILES.

7. BUT SAYS "Setup could not find a file on the specified path or disk" Please check that the proper disk is inserted or specify a new path".

8. PATH IS CORRECT AND THE REQUESTED FILES ARE THERE, BUT PROGRAM WILL NOT CONTINUE.

9. I have all Windows Updates and Hotfixes for BOTH Win98SE and Win2000.

10. No missing or corrupted files found in SYSTEM FILE CHECKER.

We found the problem (a bug in the InstallShield program) and have fixed it. This problem was never seen in 6 beta test versions.

Please redownload Microstudio 2.506 from your link in your email.

Anyone seeing this problem should redownload the microstudio2506setup.exe file from your download link in the email you received and then run it to install the fixed version. The current code has the fix in it.
