Accelerated Audiio
I am using Sound Forge to record some of my old tapes to wave files. They sound normal When I play back. When I upload them in KHP and add the lyrics, they play back at an accelerated rate. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?[/b] You didn't tell us which version of Sound Forge you used. Versions prior to 6.0 had an acceleration problem upon transfering to an other media. There is a maintenance release to SF 6.02 which solved this problem. Could you please tell us which version of SF you are using and under which operating system as well and RAM and CPU type and speed? Thank you, Jon |

Sample rate or mono-stereo?
If your sample rate is not 44.1KHz the CDG created file will not play correctly.
If you have a monaural file (1 track), it will be assumed to be stereo when creating a CDG and therefore playback at 2x speed. Be sure you fully understand what your original .wav file is. |

accelerated playback
I tried recording in stereo instead of mono and it worked just fine. Thanks for all the help.
