Question

Are there any? I would think some of the cheaper ones that are region free (and sometimes macrovision free) that read just about anything under the sun (DVD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW/VCD/SVCD/MP3) and have firmware upgrades might be able to, but i don't know of any...

I was looking at the kones 3300, but i can't find any documentation....

Anyone have any sucess???

Definetly not a cheap DVD. There are not a lot of of them out there. The Pioneer 555 was the only one I found without doing to much research (at karaokewh.com)and it costs $750.I have seen others in the past and they ran about the same price.

If you need both CDG and DVD and your on a budget your best bet would be a cheap DVD (about $120 at Circuit City)and a little portable karaoke system for about $150 or less (Kmart, Target etc). Both units will play regular CDs as well but I dont know about the MP3. My cheap DVD (Apex 500) will play VCD's on CD-RW but not regular music
