Question Error message:ERROR: Write command failed on device 3:4:0 read/write error or bad med

I have been getting an error message that says
  1. ERROR: Write command failed on device 3:4:0 read/write error or bad medium detected (04h 00h 02h 03h 02h 00h)
I would like to know what to do. I do have a Plexwriter Premium drive that I have used previously with a friend of mine's program. My computer crashed a while back so I purchased another Microstudio 2.612 software for $39.95 and also the CD (CDROM) for $12.00. It works up until I put in a brand new CDR, it acts like it will write to new disc but it then pops out the disc with the above error message. What can I do?

This error is due to something on your computer slowing the Data transfer down to the point that it is not making it to the drive fast enough to write.

This can be caused by Spyware, Viruses, bad Motherboard drivers. It is somewhere between your Hard drive and CD-Rom drive. This uses the Computers Motherboard drivers to transfer data. So updating these will fix it most of the time, if that is the cause. You would do this from the Manufacturer of the Motherboards, or computers website.

Also, make sure that you run a spyware removal program such as described for this Error in the Forums, which is located at: http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?t=3622 Error Number 9.
