Loss of Recorded Video Sound Tracks

Greetings,
Recently had to re-install hard drive and neglected to record the configuration settings I used to support playing recorded videos via Hoster.

My KMA video/audio files are playing just fine and my recorded video tracks are showing up on my dual monitors just fine. My problem is that I am no longer able to hear audio tracks for my recorded videos.

Any and all help appreciated in advance of a week-end event.

Best,
GB

Re: Loss of Recorded Video Sound Tracks

Either right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar and select playback device or from within Hoster Tools/Settings/Audio Tab select “Manage Audio Cards”

With your HDMI connected you should see an HDMI setting in the list as shown in my attachment. Select the HDMI item, right click it should bring up a fly out menu, select Disable.
This only stops the audio going through the HDMI, it does not effect the video.

Then make sure that your audio card is set as the default device, in your case Realtek High definition Audio, In my attachment I have Line 1 breakaway as default, Ignore that unless you have Breakaway installed.

Re: Loss of Recorded Video Sound Tracks

Roy,
Perfect -Spot on advice!

My laptop sound setup is finally back on track.

My recorded (YouTube) karaoke video sound tracks are now both visible AND audible===plus, my DJ software is once again audible via my performance speakers and I can (once again) adjust sound levels using DJ software sound controls.

I have a attached a PDF of my settings for anyone interested in my Hoster 5.51.01 setup supporting my audio system via a mixer that feeds speakers from my laptop headset port.

Thanks a ton!

Best,
Gwen
