Vogone Help

I am using Vogone on a laptop and I am not able to play the files and hear them through headphones or my laptop's speakers the way I can with Micro-studio or Karaoke Home producer. I'm sure there is a perfectly logical reason for this, but I don't know what it is. I have had some success with the program but I have to move the high and low filter sliders, write the file, and then play it using Home Producer to hear the results. I know there must be a better way. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
