If you have a blank Cd in the CD-R drive, Microstudio fails to open. Remove the Blank CD and double click on the Microstudio Icon. If this still does not allow Microstudio to open, try the following:
- If you are running V2.013, there is a bug that caused the code to try to detect the CDR/CDROM drives more than once. This could prevent the program from running.
- Microstudio requires an ASPI device driver be installed. If you have IDE drives and SCSI drives, your ASPI driver must be of a later version to identify both IDE and SCSI drives. If you install a SCSI device with its software, and Microstudio cannot find your IDE CDR drive, you have installed an older ASPI driver that will not identify IDE drives. Go to your vendor for the part just installed and get a newer ASPI software driver.
- If you have Microstudio V2.000, there is a bug that causes it to stop functioning after running for several days. This is fixed in V2.001. Click here for a free upgrade to V2.013 if you have purchased Microstudio V2.000. Your unlock email and Serial Number will unlock the new code. We are sorry this problem ocurred.
- If you are running V2.001 and the program will not run, place a Karaoke CDG or Audio CD disc in the CD-Recorder, then run the program again.
- If it still fails to run, then make sure your Windows operating system DirectX Version is V7.0a or higher.
