Question Failed Microstudio 2.604 Upgrade

Yersterday I tried to get the free upgrade from 2.517 to 2.604.

From the Microstudio Overview page:-

"Version 2.604 is a free upgrade for all Microstudio 2.506 and higher owners by clicking your download link in your email with your Registration Code. "

I have done this, and I have run the file. I have tried both the modify and repair options but the software still shows as version 2.517 and does not have the changes listed in the Version Upgrades page.

I did not overwrite the original download file, but this and the new download are exactly the same size 3003Kb (I expected the file to have the same name - this has been the case in previous software upgrades from MTU). This makes me think the new file has not been downloaded.

Have I done something wrong? Have I mis-read the installation software that says use modify or repair to upgrade? Have MTU failed to make the new download file available?

Jim

Sorry, I updated the web site too fast...

Jim, you did nothing wrong. It was my fault.

The new microstudio2604setup.exe file was not built until yesterday morning. Since it takes hours to modify the web site for a new upgrade (especially Microstudio), I did that in the wee hours of the morning.

I didn't upgrade our home page until I got to work and the new .exe was built and uploaded to the web site. However, you were too good!!! You saw the upgrade was "announced" and downloaded.

Click your download link again and you will now get 2.604 delivered to you.

Thumbs up

Sorted!

Thanks

Jim

PS. Installation dialogs referred to Hoster installation but I ignored that.
