2.506 Download Error
I have tried to click my link from my original e-mail, and I am getting a page with error messages...
Warning: stat failed for /usr/local/etc/httpd/miva/datadir/downloads/microstudio2315.exe (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php on line 38 Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php:38) in /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php on line 44 Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php:38) in /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php on line 47 Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php:38) in /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php on line 53 Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php:38) in /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php on line 62 Warning: fopen("/usr/local/etc/httpd/miva/datadir/downloads/microstudio2315.exe", "rb") - No such file or directory in /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php on line 67 Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/download.php on line 68 ALSO: How do I find out how many downloads I have left? Back when 2.315 upgraded to 2.400, I tried downloading that apgrade several times, but kept getting a file called "2315" - only to find out later from tech support that it was in fact the 2.400 upgrade, but it had the same file name so that the old link would work. Did this use up some of my "8" upgrade downloads? Does your server count "successful" downloads, or does it count download attempts? I only ever downloaded 2.315 once, and 2.400 once, and then backed them up so that I wouldn't have to use up any of my 8 available downloads... |

Your original link will not work due to a new installation procedure.
Also, those qualified for a free upgrade to Microstudio 2.506 have already been notified via email. All others ( those having purchased 2.400 over six months ago) need to go to the MTU store and purchase the 2.506 upgrade for $15.00. If you do not have a Plextor 52X burner, and/or your video card requires that you use 8bit resolution, then you have no need to change at this time. When it becomes practical to upgrade ( which could be now if you have the 52X burner), you will start fresh regarding the number of downloads available, which are based on attempts. That is why download accellerator programs are discouraged. They can eat up the available downloads in one attempt, and mess up the download. Continue to back up new downloads, smart move. Hope this helps, George |
