Unexpected ASPI error (04h 00h 00h)

I'm making backups of my karaoke CDG discs. After a few discs, I get

Error: 'WRITE' command failed on device 2:4:0
Unexpected ASPI error (04h 00h 00h)

At that point the CDR drive totally locks up -- even the front panel eject button doesn't work. A system power-down is required to reset the CDR drive.

This has happened twice so far. I have successfully burned 20 discs. I am using 700 MB unlabeled Mitsui Silver CDR blanks.

I'm using V2.400 (downloaded last week) and the MTU-installed ASPI driver from that.

Here's my system info:

srothkin,
Try upgrading your ASPI drivers as stated in this forum post: http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?threadid=493
