Red face Can't start program

When I double click on my icon, rather than opening the Microstudio program, I get a pop up box that says:
"Microstudio MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
What can I do ?

Do a search on this forum for "mfc application" and you'll find a bunch of possibilities.

One that was in the beta forum which you wouldn't have access to was caused by adding a scsi card. Other than removing the card I couldn't find if that got resolved.

If you can't find something here for your situation you can also try an internet search.

Not with Microstudio, but once after installing another application I received that same error. It turned out that I needed to update the Microsoft .Net Framework.

Thanks for the tip. I did correct the problem by "restoiring" my computer to an ear;ier date. This worked. and was suggested by a neighbor who had experienced the same with other applications. Thanks for your reply.
