Key Changing a Vogone Processed File

George and I have noticed that we have had problems with some machines key changing a song burnt to disc after being processed by vogone. Has anyone else had this problem? I am curious. I think it is because some karaoke players change the file to mono as part of the key changing process. Does the problem go away if the option to create a mono file for karaoke has been selected??

Jahern & George,

I will test Stereo vs Mono later on today and see what happens here.

Regards,

Jon

Test No Good!

Jahern, George:

I processed a couple of songs through Vogone, each one was processed twice, one with the Mono check on and one with it off. I ended up with a four decent background tracks.

I burned a CDG and played them through my Pioneer CLD-V760 karaoke player. Each track played very good in the original key, then I used the key changer to bring them down 2 steps and the tracks became totally unusable.

I practically couldn’t even tell which songs were playing, totally distorted.

I didn’t notice any difference between the mono and stereo tracks, except that I get a better bass response on the songs that were processed using the mono check on.

I’ll try a couple of other songs but I don’t think it’ll make any difference.

Regards,

Jon
