Help burning files from Hard Drive
I purchased the latest Microstudio and it is awesome!!!
I have a collection of Karaoke songs that are cdg's that I run with Pro CDG from the computer. I wanted to burn them on to CD, but it give me an error "invalid cue sheet command at line 3" error I am using the custom assembly tab. I also tried to play them with Microstudio and it does not work. But I can play the CDG file with the Pro CDG program. in checking is appear it is not a valid cdg, but it does play on pro CDG software and it is a CDG file. I just want to burn them on a cd to play on my Karaoke player... HELP |

Not really familiar with Pro CDG, but it is possible that the format is not compatible with the CDG format, which is created when importing from a CD+G disc with Microstudio. What did you use to import these songs? Or how were the songs obtained? You might check with either the Pro CDG support, or where you got the files from. I know of other programs which use a separate *.cdg file coupled with a mp3 file. These are not directly compatible with microstudio w/o first converting them with a separate program. If I were you, I would reimport them from your discs using Microstudio, then you could custom assemble your discs in the order you wish. This is assuming you have the discs, if not, you may be out of luck.

There's a section in the Microstudio Manual that deals with cuesheet error messages. Hopefully your solution may be there.
Open Microstudio, click on HELP, click on MANUAL, scroll down to TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE, and click on CUESHEET REJECTED BY THE CD BURNER. Hope this helps, George Last edited by George; January 18th, 2004 at 02:58 PM. |

Flip,
The info in the manual pretty much confirms what you were saying. George |
