Plextor CD-R PX-W5224A

Ok, here's another question. Is the Plextor CD-R PX-W5224A compatible with the Microstudio 2610 demo? Anyone have a Plextor CD-R PX-W5224A? I want to test this drive with the Microstudio demo v.2610 before I purchase the full version of this program. Thx

Since the demo is free why not just download it and see?

The certified 5224 I bought through MTU works fine, but that doesn't necessarily mean one purchased elsewhere will perform up to par where CDG is concerned.

I have the demo installed but currently only have a Sony CRX-140E. I'm planning on purchasing the Plextor W5224A and just wanted to know if anyone had problems with it.

PcDoctor,
This drive does support the CD+G format. When we were shipping this drive we did have quite a few after testing that would give bad graphics. If you get one, test it, if the graphics are bad, then try to get it swapped. Plextor is pretty good about this, if you go directly to them.
