i have recently bought a new computer and am running windows xp with microstudios 2.315 and a plextor usb MTU approved burner, and the program is not reading this drive when i click on detect drives. I don't understand it worked fine on my other PC with windows ME. i went to the mtu web site to download the 2.316 free upgrade to correct the problem but was unable to find the downloadable web page can someone please help?

Vanilla,
2.316 is not yet available. You can download the correct ASPI drivers to run this from:
http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/microstu...idrivers16.exe

Here is the location of the ASPI drivers that are needed for the USB drive to be supported under Micrsotudio.

You will need your Microstudio Email and serial number to install this program.

Then go into Microstudio, click on the Drives menu at the top. Click on ASPI drivers. Make sure this is set to USE the MTU Installed Driver. Then close Microstudio and Reopen it. This will then fix your problem.

Unhappy Same problem!

I'm having the exact same problem and haven't heard back from MTU support. Did you ever get the problem resolved?
