Angry Please Help

Hi there, i am super new to this, i have a Plextor px-708a drive, and i am running winxp pro and was wondering whats the best software to get that will put the songs i download from newsbinpro to cd so i can take them to karaoke bars and sing the new songs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, also i have used cdrwin in the past, but for some reason it didn't work, i called Goldenhawk, and they said it would not work because it's illegal, i however have a few friends that are using it fine, any suggestions?

Chris

Be aware of the legal issues you are considering

We have no recommendations for how to do what you want to do.

RIAA is currently sueing 1,500 - 2,000 individuals a month for downloading illegal songs over the Internet. They track them down based on who is downloading from the illegal sites.

You may want to read our copyright page on what's legal and illegal.

You will find lots of help in our Forums when you want to know how to make legal copies, or create legal CDG songs, etc.

Re: Please Help

First, buy your CDG discs.

If you donload FREE MP3+G files and convert them to .bin or .cdg files and use them in public, this is illegal. The MP3+G sites pay no royalties, and one day all the folks who come to their sites will start being sued. It is only a matter of time!!!!!! Don't get caught in their "visitors logs".

Second, get a CDG Certified CDR or DVDR burner to insure you have a drive that can read and write the CDG format. MOST DRIVES will not do this! The CDG format is very different from any other, and most manufacturers today have abandoned supporting it.

Third, buy MTU's Microstudio software.

Forth, buy quality CDR media. We have searched for years, and proven with users what the best media is. We sell our CDG Silver Media so you know it is the best possible. Some Karaoke Players won't read poorer quality CDR media. VERY FEW will read CDRW (rewritable) so don't even have any of these around. If you do, one day you will mess up and use one, then wonder why it won't play.

Make your backup copies of the DISCS YOU PURCHASED. This is legal.

If you make copies of your friends discs and keep the copies, this is illegal.

If you give your friends copies of your discs, this is illegal.

Please read my prior given link to our Copyright-Notes page to read what is legal and illegal.

I hope this answers your question.
