Making karaoke cdg's from MP3's & cdg files

Do you have a software to combine/burn mp3 & cdg files into a karaoke CD that will play on my karaoke machine? I have purchased/downloaded the files.
Pls advise.

Terminology

I am not clear about what you mean. If you are talking about mp3+g files, compressed files that have graphics, then I cannot help you. I don't have experience with them.

If you are wanting to turn mp3 audio files into cdg files with karaoke or other graphics:

1. Convert mp3s into wave files.
2. Using KPRO software create necessary cdg files.

If you want non-karaoke selections on the same disc as cdg karaoke selections:

You have to somehow convert your mp3s to cdg. There are two ways.

1. The above method using KPRO (Even if you do not want it for Karaoke-I used the Superman theme at a luncheon and I used the same disc for karaoke songs and non-karaoke songs. I just used KPRO. I Swept the Lyrics "Superman" on the wave file and created the CDG file. Since one often has to Cue a track, it's nice to see the title sometimes.)

2. Another way to create a CDG file from an mp3.
a. Somehow create a disc with the mp3
b. Using Microstudio and a compliant burner, extract the desired track as a cdg file. Even though one doesn't see any graphics, I discovered that Microstudio will treat these files as if they were the more conventional cdg files with visible graphics.

Now with all your songs, karaoke and non-karaoke ready as cdg files, use Microstudio and a compliant burner to burn cdg audio discs.

I don't know your area of experience, and it may be that you still need to ask some things. But I didn't want to spend the whole day imagining that you needed to hear something that you already knew. Feel free to ask for more clarification.

Using a pay subscription service, I've downloaded karaoke files that have an MP3 audio file & an XXX.cdg video file for each song.
They play Karaoke fine on my Dell Computer & Winamp (with a plug-in). I burn them in a data mode with Nero & they also work fine on Winamp.

However, I'm not able to burn the two files together on a CD so they'll play as karaoke on my new Sungale DVD8208 karaoke amplifier. I can only get the MP3 part to play. The Sungale is compatible to DVD, CD, VCD, CD-R/RW, MP3, & CD-G etc.

Guess I could easily convert the MP3 to WAV, but the XXX.cdg is syncked (sic) with the MP3.

What am I missing?
Thanks.

Check with your pay subscription service, they might offer a program which will combine the MP3 and CDG files. As far as MTU, they have made it perfectly clear they will not offer any software which deals with illegal file formats, or facilitate them in any way. Check here

And here.

And here.

Just a few of the posts dealing with MP3+G files and their "legallity"

dcc733.....

1. There are two formats that you might have confused.

2. There is the mp3+cdg that is created by a program called Toolz.

3. and there is the mp3+mcg this is created by the Cavs-Usa Program. If you purchased from Cavs-Usa downloaded songs that are licensed, it would then be in their mp3+mcg format. You have to use Cavs-Usa Players for play these songs, as they were designed to play on their units. To burn their format to CD-R's you have to purchase their Encoder Program for that.
