Phillips CDRW2412A
I have a Phillips CDRW2412A which will not work with Microstudio.

Are there are issues with this CD Writer ?

Yes,
This drive doesn't support the CD+G format. There is nothing that you can do to make it work. MTU has drives that do support the CD+G format, that can be purchased if this is what you are looking to do.
