Unhappy Copy Problems

I HOPE TO EXPLAIN MYSELF CORRECTLY.
I PURCHASED THE PLEXTOR 16/10/40A CDRW FROM MTU RECENTLY. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE DRIVE. MY PROBLEM IS WHEN WRITE THE CD IT MAY BURN 2, 4, MAYBE 6 TRACTS THEN I GET AN ERROR AND RUINS THE CD. WHAT I THEN DO IS HIT CTRL, ALT AND DELETE AND END TASK ON EVERY PROGRAM EXCEPT EXPLORER AND MICROSTUDIO AND THEN I WRITE THE CD WITH PERFECTION. MY QUESTION IS, IS THERE SOMETHING I'M NOT DOING CORRECTLY, MAYBE SOME SETTINGS THAT I'M NOT GETTING RIGHT? I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY RESPONDS.
HOPE EVERYONE HAD HAPPY NEW AND CONTINUES THROUGH OUT THE YEAR.
THANK YOU,
MEESTER HAM

Lightbulb Turn all other programs off

If you are writing a CD, any other program running, even a screen saver, can interrupt the data transfer and voila... another plastic frisbee.

When Microstudio installs, it disables your screen saver. This is to insure this known culprit will not ruin your burns.

If you have any other programs running while burning a CD, you run the risk of exactly what you experiencing.

DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHER PROGRAMS RUNNING WHILE WRITING A CD!
