Will Microstudio combine multiple disc tracks onto one disc? YES!
We are new to this website and we're looking for a program that will allow us to take our 20 cdg's that will be our show and put them onto one CDG disc with all the key changes and lyrics displayed. Can this program do this? We have Windows XP media. Thank you so much for your input

As long as your 20 songs are less than the limit of the disc (74 min or 80 min depending on disc) then yes that can be done with Microstudio. This is providing that your computer and disc drive meet the miniumum requirements for the program. I might suggest you try the demo version to make sure it will work on your system. It does have limitations but should show you what to expect.
FYI: Please post in the individual program Help forum (Microstudio Help, Hoster Help, etc) rather than the Testimonial forum next time.

Yes, you can do this although I don't think ALL of the songs of 20 discs combined can fit on one disc. But you can pull the ones you use the most onto one disc containing approx. 15 - 20 different songs.

Peglance, if I understand you correctly, you have CD+G discs with music and lyrics/graphics. You want to take some of the songs from 20 discs and change the key to your voice, then write these to a new disc to perform with at shows playing CD+G discs.
As answered above, one of Microstudio's main functions is to import the tracks you want from multiple discs. However, our Keyrite software is different from Microstudio's live key change while playing. Keyrite allows you to take CD+G files imported to the hard drive using Microstudio, key change them leaving the lyrics in the same synchronization as the original, and write the back to the hard drive as a CD+G file with the audio pitch (key) changed. Then in Microstudio, the Write Disc screen allows you to choose the CDR media you have to burn; today typically 80 minutes long. As you add your imported and key changed tracks to the list, moving them to be in the order your want, a field shows you how much room is left before the disc is full. You can keep adding tracks until you run out of space to write to the CDR disc. If your songs exceed one disc, you can easily add them to a second disc. Thus, I believe you want both Microstudio and Keyrite. However, if all you want is the AUDIO without the lyrics/graphics data, then Microstudio alone can be used. It is a little tricky as you have to RECORD the music while playing and key changing it. Then save the recorded AUDIO only .wav file, then add it to the Write Disc list to burn to an AUDIO CD disc... without lyrics/graphics. You may want to look at the KSuite 4 package that gives you Microstudio, Keyrite, Vogone (vocal reducer/remover) and KHPro that allows you to add lyrics to a song to create a CD+G file (.BIN format) than Microstudio can write to a CDG format disc. Does this answer your questions? |
