Anybody got any leads where can I find some shareware products that will allow me to convert misc. song files to the .wav format? Anybody got a good one they can attach?

Are you talking about Karaoke files or standard music files?
When you say shareware it's because you wish to test before buying the license or you mean Freeware?

I use Musicmatch but you need Jukebox Plus which is not free.

Standard music files, IE: wma, mp3, etc. Freeware would be nice and paying for it is an option if I can't find what I need for free.

Has anyone used the Goldwave or Cool Edit Pro? Somewhere, late last night I dug into the forum, (about 30 pages deep) and found mention of those two. Current price, (goldwave.com) has the Goldwave Digital Audio Editor for (about US$43). Cool Edit Pro, there I have no leads.

I read somewhere last night that there were a multitude of free programs out there that would do what I need done. I just don't know where they are. I have a few songs in .mp3 and .wma that I'd like to covert into .wav so I can give a try at KPro.

Joe,

A good software would be Magix Studio Deluxe or Wave Lab to convert an mp3 to Wave with out affecting the quality.

In fact, any pro studio software would do a good job.
