V2.009 - Post your comments here

This version fixes the bug that prevented writing your vocal reduced song to the hard drive. We're sorry this one slipped by us.

Uninstalled and reinstalled no problems.

But when I came to write a file it stopped 4 marks from the end on the play location on two occasions, but I checked the wav file in Goldwave and it DID devoc the whole tune.

But on a couple of occasions I got the following Illegal Operation message after it had finished writing the devoc'd file.

VOGONE2 caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff7b992.

I did try restarting my PC and trying again so see if it made any difference, but alas it never.

This fault is not consistant, it only appeared twice out of writing ten songs.

V2.009

Works OK without the loopback problem and the amplitude slider is great. I too experienced the problem described by joethermo earlier.
Don't know whether it's just my system but Keyrite's not working. Can't remember when I last used it but despite reinstalling it I seem to have a problem. Might be a good idea for others to just check this. I'll keep fiddling and report back asap.

(Later) Seems OK now! Mmmm ......

It's quite amazing how well it removes the lead vocal and retains all the backing vocals. I've long been a fan of the New Christy Minstrels (A great folk/rock vocal group back in the 60's. Some very famous singers were included in their ranks at times). Never thought I'd have them as backing singers! Great!!

V2.009 is not the final either!

It was clear there were still problems with this version. On to 2.010.
