KeyRite 2.24 Not Reading WAV Files

KeyRite 2.24 is working well on my MP3 Files.
Sometimes however, when I export a 16 bit 44.1 kHz WAV file from my DAW, KeyRite will not Read the WAV file. Windows Media Player plays the WAV file OK, and the WAV file appears to be otherwise normal. What am I missing?
