Question crw 2200e

my crw 2200e is soppose to read an write cd+g
but microstudio says no can somebody tell me why

Here is a copy from information found at the MTU karaoke information page.

NOTE: Older drives from Yamaha, Sony and HP no longer work with Microstudio 2.515 or higher. If you have one of these drives, please stay with your Microstudio 2.400 or prior until we change our CDR burner drivers.

Gillos,

you might want to ask MTU to sell you the 2.4 version instead to have it work with your Yamaha burner?

Your burner is not the worse they made & it's unfaire for you that MTU removed the driver in their new version!
In fact, beside the fact that the 2.4 consumes more cpu it's a better version with its low resolution graphic.
