Question Hoster 3.30 Screen Problems

Hi running Hoster 3.30 on a Shuttle with 800MHZ Processor and 512MB RAM.

Screen flashes during playback, and CDG words rather jerky. Any ideas? Processor too slow maybe?

Thanks.

Shuttle with 800 Mhz? I didn't know you could get one that slow that would fit the shuttle.

800 is the absolute bare minimum that will work though I believe 1Ghz is the minimun recomended. And I would imagine video uses a lot more resources than cdg (which I think is only 16 colors) so I would think those specs might change.

You will need to Reinstall Hoster if you change all of those Items.

What type of video card do you have? It sounds as if this is the problem, or you have some type of Spyware or Adware running on this system that is slowing it down.

It is an intergrated video on a VIA EPIA Mini-ITX motherboard.

Task manager does not show any other prgrams running, but Hoster does use up to 100% CPU time!!

Found out I can't upgrade this model Shuttle, so have bitten the bullet and ordered a new DELL. Hope to load software this weekend. Thanks anyway.

I had Hoster loaded on a Dell laptop with 800mh celron processor and with 256 meg of ram. It worked fine. The only thing I didn't have duell monitor . It had the wrong video card in it. Then I built another Shuttle and put Hoster on it as my backup. I have two Shuttle computers.
