micro studio software

I am running windows XP home.
Program that i'm having problems with is Microstudio.
Version that i have is 2.400

When i am trying to burn a CDG i get an Error message when i am coping or writing, one or the other.
It started about 2 weeks ago, i had my computer cleaned, but it was doing it even before i had it cleaned.

error message that i get is,

error: write command failed on device 1:1:0
read/write error or bad medium detected (04h 00h 02h 03h 73h 03h)

I would like any help someone might have.
Thank You in Advance for your help

This problem means that your computer is not sending the Data to the CD-R drive fast enough. Thus, there is something in the computer that is slowing down the system. You can try running Disc Defragmenter, the try updating all the Windows Updates from the Start Menu.

This should help, but there is something slowing down the system. You must find out what this is to fix the error message.

i had something wrong with my computer and they had to reformat it. They said i had a bunch of spy ware on here and the only way to get it cleared up was to reformat it. Ok, with that done i have put AOL9.0 on, added my printer and put microstudio on that is all that i have put on here so far.
Thank You for taking the time to help me out.

Glad they got you working again. Spyware will kill your system, and the only true way to get rid of it all is by reformatting.

as I have posted so many times before. Make a backup image of your hard drive once you get it back running the way you want it, before you start surfing again.

Norton Ghost 2003 can save you hours & many$$. 15 minutes, and you are back up and running.

This error is the same as above. Your computer is not sending the Data to the CD as fast as it needs to be for it to work correctly. You need to figure out what is wrong with your computer as this person above has done.

I have the same problem write command failed on device 1:1:0. It started after I tried to copy a Monster Hits that had copyright protection on it. Could that have caused my problem? I defragd and ran spybot on it with no success. Am I due for a reformat?

I would say the reformat is the best fix.

The only other thing that Can fix it is the drivers from the Motherboard Manufacturer that may have fixed something.
