microstudio will not open. I get "This program has performed an eleagal operation and will be shut down".
Microstudio worked fine one day and the next day I wasn't able to open it.
Lately in Discarchitect I can only write at 2x. Any faster and I get "Duplication not sucessful".
Any help?
Yes I installed Office 2000 and uninstalled it and have the
same results.

Rod, read the other posts in this Forum and try all they suggest. For example, http://mtu.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?threadid=82

Did you install any other software or hardware on your computer?

Rod, Microstudio requires an ASPI driver to be installed on your computer that identifies your CD-Recorder (either IDE or SCSI). I expect when you installed Win2000, your ASPI driver was modified, causing the problem. Click the Search button at the top and enter ASPI to see all the posts about this topic. If you still have problems, post a new reply under this thread.

As to unsuccessful write operations, the Installation Guidelines you were required to make to your computer when installing Microstudio have probably been undone by installing Win2000. You can find these on our website at:
http://www.mtu.com/support/microstud...tall-sheet.htm . Review these changes and make sure they are still made.
