Newbie Needing Help with getting audio and video.

I have just converted over to MTU Hoster from CDGs. I have a shuttle with brand new mirrored SATA drives. I am able to extend my desktop okay, showing boxes with 1 and 2 in them. (1 is primary, 2 is secondary), and I've chosen the extended desktop. When I boot up the computer, I see the boot-up info showing on the small tv, then the singer's screen goes to blue. I choose a song and play it, it shows the small display on the hosting screen, and the singer's screen also shows on the hosting screen, but not on the tv monitor. Maybe I'm not reading the manual right, but I've done exactly as instructed.

Also, the only audio I can get is if I plug a splitter into the headphone jack on the front of the shuttle, which of course precludes stereo separation in speakers. Also, it is not very loud.

I purchased this shuttle used from a guy who did karaoke but I'm not sure if he actually used dual monitor displays.

On another forum I recall (unable to locate the thread now, of course) something about dragging the second display over the first?

I'd appreciate anyone's help on this ... after loading 15,000 songs I'm ready to use the thing...I'm sure it's something simple but I'm truly a computer idiot!

Karen
