Installation Restriction Clarification

I'd like to troubleshoot the problem I am having with Keyrite adding an audible pop at the beginning of any song with an upward key change. To do so I need to install the software on a different computer.

My concern is the two installation limit, since the pc to be used for troubleshooting is not one to be used long term. At least some of MTU's software used the network card as the identifier of a given pc installation. I have no idea if this the method employed with Keyrite 2.x. If it is, then there's no problem I'll move the USB network adapter that was purchased just for this purpose.

If the network adapter is no longer the identifier, and the installation on the second pc would be logged as unique, how difficult is it to subsequently get it removed from the "installation count"?

Thanks in advance for your feedback,

bernie

We will work with you on this...

We no longer use a network card for security. We do fingerprint the computer which is stored in our Registration Record database.

Post in this thread on the date you install on the second system. Then, return and post here when you remove it, requesting that we delete it, and we will delete your registration record for that second computer installation.

There have been a few other reports of this click. We would be interested in what you find.
