Hoster back up

When I open HOSTER I get this error message.
An error has occurred in the script on this page\"
Line: 35
Char: 1
Error: the value of \"$\" is null or undefined, not a function object
Code: 0
URL: file://C:/ProgramData/ Sm.htm

Do you want to continue running script on this page?

I click yes and I get same message again. So I click yes again and Hoster opens.

Then when I try to back up HOSTER I get this message: Access is denied:

registry file not found. Could the file(s) be open?

How can I fix this?

Re: Hoster back up

It sounds like something in the marquee settings is causing the Problem.

If you can get the marquee to open untick all the selected items then press apply.
Then see if Hoster opens after that, if it does then tick one object at a time close and restart Hoster to try to find the offending line.

When you try to create a backup do you use the Menu/Help/Backup/Restore option ?
This usually shows a message that it must close Hoster to create the backup.

Do you have the Hoster data folder open at the time ?

or are you creating the backup some other way ?
