Microstudio 4.00 wrong registration code message
I am new to this forum, so please excuse me if my description is lacking.
On 12/12/06 I purchased Microstudio 3.002 along with a Plextor Drive. I installed it on my HP 533w computer running XP and it worked fine. On 04/15/07 I purchased the upgrade Microstudio 4.00. I installed it on the same computer and again everything worked fine. A few weeks ago, my computer crapped out, forcing me to format the hard drive. I installed service packs one and two. I went to Microsoft and downloaded all updates including DirectX 9.0c and Media Player 11. When I tried to install Microstudio 4.00 on the same computer, It told me that the registration code was wrong. I even tried to install my 3.002 version and received the same message. I went to my Microstudio account and found that the number was the same. I copied and pasted the number directly from my account, and tried it again, with the same results. I don't know what else to try. Please advise. Wayne |

Try submitting a web email through the Support page on the MTU website. What has happen is you have made a major change to your computer and Microstudio won't install because of the change (thinks it is a new machine) MTU needs to reset your registration. Please note that MTU does not work on weekends so you may be waiting for a few days for them to fix this for you.
