Hi Brian,
Just got a new Dell & all seems fine with my login. When my co-worker logs in, microeditor works fine but micro CD cant find the burner. What should I do.

Michael,
I am guessing that it would be the ASPI drivers. You can update these from: http://www.mtu.com/kb/index.php?page=index_v2&id=23&c=1

I think if he installs them under his User account it should fix it.

Hi Brian,
This is what I know about the machine. It is a Dell optiplex GX270T 2.6ghz P4 800 fsb 512 Cache in a small mini tower. I specified a plextor cdr and a removable hd on a dataport sled for the second hd. The hard drives are SATA 120 gig drives. 512 mb ddr ram. 120mb nvidia geforce video card. I have been using the system for a few days now & it is very responsive.

Hi Brian,
I spoke too soon. The removable hard drive failed. I am having a new machine built but this time with IDE drives. This should prove to be easier to find replacements.
