first track wont play

using hp 9500i copies great except go to play back will not play track one except when u go to track 2 then back to 1 there is sound but no video untill u go to 2 then back to 1 anyone else experience this trried different media tried on different cd+g players, could laser in cdrw be off! thanks for any help
