Moving KMA files to new laptop w/wins 10 from laptop w/wins vista
How can I move my Hoster KMA files from my old laptop w/wins Vista to a new laptop w/wins 10? I've transferred some but they're not recognized. I tried transferring using USB connection. I have the latest version of Hoster on both computers. Haven't gotten the hang of Wins 10 yet. I hope someone can explain the process to me. Thanks!

Re: Moving KMA files to new laptop w/wins 10 from laptop w/wins vista
You should be able to copy them via USB.
As you have the latest version of Hoster you should be able to use the Help menu/Backup/Restore feature to copy all the settings. Save the backup to a usb drive or other portable device or sky drive then open the same on your windows 10 computer and restore from the backup. This will copy all your settings over making it a clone of the other. Now copy all your KMA files but the important bit is to make sure that they follow the same file path as they did on your old computer. Example, if they were in C:\MTU\KMA they will have to be the same on your new Windows 10. If your not following the same path that is probably why they won't show. If you want to use a different path you will need to remove the list of folders in the build database dialog and re import them, if you find you need to do that come back and I'll try to explain the best procedure better.
