Red face MStudio 4005 not working after Keyrite loaded

Need some guidance/advice here.

Had Mstudio 4005 up and working just fine. Purchased Keyrite and loaded. Immediately started testing and they worked together perfectly. Test done....shut down....came back a few days later.

Well now Mstudio won't open at all. Keyrite does.
I reinstalled Mstudio over the existing installation. Still not working.
I removed Mstudio from C drive, did a disk clean up and reinstalled as a new load. Appeared to install find but does not work.

What to do now??? Any ideas as to why it is not working??

YES, ALL WINDOWS UPDATES ARE UP TO DATE!!

Any help will sure be appreciated.

What operating system?
Are you getting an error message when it won't open?

Sorry I did not include that. The problem is on my desktop machine. I am running XP, 3 gig cpu with 2 gig ram. The message I get is the standard microsoft error reporting message. I can't quote it exactly and did not write it down but perhaps this will sound familiar. "This application cannot start because it has encountered an error. CLick below to send this message to microsoft."

Does this give you any ideas that might help me out?

Do a complete uninstall. This means Uninstall Microstudio. Search the registry for all entries pertaining to Microstudio and delete them. Then delete the Microstudio folder in the program files area. This should get rid of whatever is offending Windows.
After you complete that then restart the computer and re-install Microstudio. You might want to go ahead and upgrade to 4.006 when you are ready to do this.
