comp get too busy

while using microstudio ,in play mode comp comp. uses 100% of its prosecor so we dont get word or they are ouit of sink with music . verision 2.4 ugrade is in . have sb live sound card ,and running 950 amd, with 356 mem, and video card is ge-force-2 ,runnig xp pro

I might add also that once everything is playing o.k., there should be no problem, because Microstudio does not need 100% processor speed to run.

I recall that it was determined that the player code does not free up the amount of the processor that it doesn't need. Thus, it APPEARS to need 100% of WHATEVER processor it is running on!!!

I believe Microstudio has tested out at processor speeds as low as 350 MHZ.
