Everytime i try to write any read discs it fails at different times.

message it gives iserror `write` command failed on device 1:0:0 read/write error or bad medium detected (04h 00h 02h 03h 0ch 09h

any help

Barry, your problem is trying to write at higher than 6x rate. As Brian Corr pointed out, your error message is exactly duplicated in the Tech Support Catagory at: http://www.mtu.com/vbulletin/showthr...p?threadid=331

Click your Microstudio Drive menu (at the top) and select the Drive Speed function. Set your write speed to 6x. It should work.

Microstudio 2.2 has fixed this problem. We expect to release it before the end of February.

Microstudio V2.200 is released

Barry, you can now obtain a free upgrade to V2.200. Follow the instructions in you Microstudio V2.103 email. They are the same for V2.200.
