I believe you may have the wrong burner for karaoke

Richard,

I am afraid your burner DOES NOT appear to support the CD+G (karaoke) specifications. TEAC drives, although very fast and very good for overall recording, they are no good for Karaoke. MicroStudio only recognizes CD+G certified recorders.

Many manufacturers claim that their recorders are good for karaoke when in fact they are not.

Currently the best drives for this function are the Plextor lines, AND the only recorders that are guarantee to be 100% compatible with CG+Gs are the Plextor sold by MTU, because every single burner sold is manually tested before it is shipped to the customer.

For complete specifications about your burner, please click here

Good luck,

Jon

This is true. The Teac drive will not work for CD+G. The only brand of drives that will work are the Plextor brand of drives.
